What’s hot this season? Paula Morgan owner of Travelwares in Sewickley has a suggestion, “The three P’s, pin’s, poncho’s, and pink.” If you are looking for any or all three of the P’s this shop is the place for you.

Paula knows her fashion. Travelwares have been selling UGG boots since 1993, ten years before they were hot. They sell shoes, suits, furs, luggage, purses, wallets, jewelry, and the list goes on. I’ll start with the three P’s. Pins- there is a great selection of colorful brochettes, from fuchsia to lime green. There are ponchos that are stripped and some with fringes in the hottest fall colors. There are also clothes and accessories in many different shades to help you style your way at one place.
Some of the shoes that the store sells are by Brighton, Tara Rose, and Paul Green. There is also a great selection of Tamara Henrique's rain boots and clogs for children by Sanita. From leather and corduroy purses, a purse with a fishhook and fish design, sandals, clogs, or boots, Lacy tops, suits, coats, or furs – its all here. What about accessories? There’s a great selection of silver jewelry by Brighton, beaded necklaces, watches, belts and earrings.
With so much to choose from, I made a list of a few of my favorite things. Pink Tweed Hunter by Tamara Henrique’s, and a pair of rain boots for those of us who refuse to let rain keep us from looking fabulous. An Isabella Fiore purse white with blue handles designed with studs and graffiti yells at us to remember the New York punk scene. My favorite was a Woven Rex Rabbit fur coat in red luggage, the most amazing color of red with a hint of orange.
Are diamonds really a girl’s best friend? And another purse I fell in love with was a Silk Hydrangea, for an evening out. Shaped like a ball and covered in flowers in light pink, blue, and yellow, with a beaded handle, a type of purse that would make Sarah Jessica Parker envious.
Along with having everything a girl needs, Paula and her employees are most courteous. Located on Broad Street in the heart of Sewickley, Travelwares is a great place for anything from a nice evening bag to vampire fangs for your Halloween costume
